Following the blazing hot temperatures, our first choice of beer, Tuborg, had decided to roll out a national promotion in the form of a prize lottery and offer customers an alternative to cool off these spicy days.
The agency was tasked to deliver the full creative approach and media communication strategies. This constituted also the first time that the client was embracing a full digital solution for this kind of promotion thus tasking the agency to deliver a proper solution on development of an application for this campaign as well.
The key visual was obviously connected to the “Say it with Tuborg” campaign, launched last year and aimed to subtly emphasize that message while delivering a colorful promise and further highlighting the structure and prizes of the lottery.
On the other hand, development of the application constituted a unique challenge requiring the balance out ease of use, implement promotion structure and rules, security features, a certain amount of automatization and basic management features. The solution was a straight forward single-page responsive microsite developed with mobile-first in mind. The microsite was also featured as an app on Facebook, giving users more ways to interact with the campaign.
Other deliverables for this campaign included TV, OOH, Radio and POS materials. The campaign on traditional media was supported by a thorough digital campaign. Needless to say, the colors of this summer were indeed lightened up by our favorite brand of beer.
