McCann Worldgroup named ‘Agency Network of the Year’ for the third time at 2016 Golden Drum Awards in Central & Eastern Europe
McCann Worldgroup was recognized as “Agency Network of the Year” at the Golden Drum Festival, Central and Eastern Europe’s most prestigious advertising festival for the third time in four years.
The “Agency Network of the Year” honour is the most important award of the festival and given to the agency with the most cumulative winning points for its entries. This year McCann Worldgroup had a total of 169 points, which included winning 4 Grand Prix, 5 Golden Drums, and 9 Silver Drums, with a total of 11 shortlisted campaigns. McCann’s 2016 winners came from 6 countries: Serbia, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Israel and Romania. Last year, Romania was awarded as the Agency of the Year.
The 4 Grand Prix were awarded for the “Lav Popcorn” campaign done by McCann Beograd for Carlsberg Srbija in both Direct and Integrated; the “Big Brother Unboxing” campaign created by McCann Tel Aviv for IKEA won the Content Grand Prix; and in Radio the “GO MONO” campaign done by McCann Worldgroup Romania for Radio XXI.

Winning is hard, repeating it every year is what amazing agencies do.”
