Respect the Living too: part of Tirana Open 2015
The Silver Drum award winning campaign “Respect the Living too”, created by McCann Tirana keeps going strong.
After the success at the Golden Drum festival held in Slovenia, one of the most important festivals in the region, this campaign was invited to be a part of the first edition of Tirana Open 2015 held on 6-13 of May.
Tirana Open is a NGO, based in Tirana with focus on a variety of developments on contemporary culture, and promotion of these developments in various forms, where one of the foremost is the great festive event (annual) that gathers under a roof visual arts, architecture, book, film and music, to make it accessible to a wider public the latest updates on these areas.
The ULTRA festival was an integral exhibition of Tirana Open that will be held annually presenting ideas and commentary on urban life and built space. This years’ theme was Mobility – A Reflection on the Urban Mobility of the City of Tirana. The “Respect the living too” campaign was one of 10 social initiatives that have given their contribution in building the citizens’ awareness for various everyday life problematics of the capital.
The campaign concept was focused exactly on elevating the cult of life over that of death and placing the spotlight on the living.
The ULTRA festival enjoyed a vast participation of people and will continue its journey in the following years, so make sure not to miss it. There is no need to mention that its quality is proven by participants such as “Respect the Living too”.
