NOA’s new logo, a tulip reborn in a fresh communication season
NOA, one of the first Albanian financial institutions, was looking to refresh its visual identity. McCann Tirana’s task was to ensure the evolution from the existing symbol, which represented an abstractly-formulated tulip, to a symbol that would provide a new vivid dimension, yet still faithful to the brand and its aspirations.
As a concrete approach and based on the attributes derived from the brand and logo analysis, a geometric scheme was designed, based on the existing logo shape. This served as a creative pillar on which was rationalised to a great extent on NOA’s communications.
The shapes generated from this process served to reformulate the symbol and its graphic values, as well as in repositioning typography, along a hidden construction upon which the new logo was composed.
The new logo, proposed by McCann Tirana and approved by NOA, embodies a reborn tulip in a fresh age of communications. With augmented energies and colours, it reflects NOA’s heritage and its brand attributes in a new dimension, placed in the increasingly dynamic context of nowadays communications and ever-evolving audiences.
NOA is an Albanian financial institution with a meaningful heritage in the microfinance sector, established in 1998. Along with its history which dates back from the first years of free market economy in the country, NOA is represented as a brand in perennial evolution.
