HAP: A brand for healthcare

HAP is one of the latest projects the Agency has been working on. Health for All Project in Albania (abbreviation: HAP), is funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) of the Swiss Government and is being implemented by a consortium of three organizations: the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, and the NGOs Terre des hommes and Save the Children.

The Project started in January 2015 and will have an implementation timeframe of 4 years. Its overall goal is for the Albanian population, including the most vulnerable, to benefit from better health due to improved primary health care services and health promotion activities. In order to clearly communicate its purpose, HAP required a full brand identity, including logo and corporate materials both internal and external in advertising and promotion communication tools.

The Agency opted for a minimalist and simplistic creative solution merging it with an impactful and scalable dimension, always aiming at transmitting a warm, pleasant and positive vibes.

HAP logo design process
As per concept, the first principles are geometric interpretations of dynamic, hand-drawn shapes of a stylized human body and the heartbeat frequency symbol merged within a simple geometric layout composed of triangles. The primary color is a variant of cyan though more soft and calm. The symbol shows health and life continuity within a radiant human shape.

The combination of all these elements results in a clear and unique brand for HAP, across a variety of applications.
